Detox drinks are a well-known way of getting through urine drug tests, but there’s a serious shortage of accurate information. The manufacturers of detox drinks, such as Herbal Clean, need to be very careful not to make claims about drug tests, because other companies have been targeted by various arms of the US Government for doing so in the past.
This can leave you rather clueless about some things. For example, does QCarbo work for all drugs? Or do you need specific detox drinks for specific drugs? Here’s a quick guide to what you can use detox drinks for.
How does QCarbo work?
In brief, QCarbo stimulates your urinary system into flushing itself. After expelling toxins through urination, your urine will have drastically lower levels of toxins in it. This is useful because the EMIT devices used in drug screenings work on a concentration threshold. If the concentration of a particular drug metabolite is below the threshold, you pass. What’s more, if you pass the screening, you won’t be tested again. Only failed drug tests are confirmed with more accurate GC-MS testing.
This means you basically just need to pass the screening stage.
So does QCarbo work for all drugs?
QCarbo should work for all drugs on a typical urine drug test. We’ll say typical here, because a bespoke test could use a zero-tolerance threshold that would be nearly impossible to satisfy.
In reality, however, urine drug tests have comfortably high thresholds to reduce the chances of false positives. For example, the cut-off point for opiates was raised from 300ng/ml to 2,000ng/ml in 1998 to avoid false positives caused by eating foods with poppy seeds.
It therefore follows that the same principle applies to pretty much any drug, and certainly the ones that are commonly tested for. That said, you will notice that Herbal Clean recommend avoiding unwanted toxins before using QCarbo. They do not specify a particular time, but a longer period of abstinence is always better.
What about QCarbo kits for particular drugs?
You can find QCarbo kits aimed at particular drugs, like this one for cocaine and this one for marijuana. Why are these needed if QCarbo works for all drugs?
Well, it all comes down to the testing device included in these two-stage kits, which is needed to determine if the chewable supplements are required. A specific testing device is cheaper than a 5-panel device, enabling these kits to be offered at a lower price. The actual detox products included in these kits are identical.
Where there are some differences, however, is in the kits for different body weights, because a body mass over 200 pounds needs a more potent detox drink to have the same effect. This is why the opiate two-stage detox for people under 200 pounds is based on the entry-level QCarbo16 drink, while the one for people over 200 pounds uses the stronger QCarbo20 with super boost tabs.
Needless to say, getting the right detox drink for your body mass is extremely important.
