Are you looking for drug test masking products that will get you safely through a drug test? If you are, you need to be extra careful these days, because it's harder than ever to cheat at drug tests. Finding the right solution
for you is therefore essential to successfully passing your drug test and getting on with your career.
What are drug test masking products?
A drug test masking product is basically some sort of substance that will hide the presence of drug metabolites, usually for urine drug tests. You would typically mix this into your urine sample before handing it in, although it could possibly be ingested as well.
The idea is that the chemicals in these products will interfere with the immunoassay devices that are commonly used for drug screenings. If you pass the initial drug screening, your urine will not be then analyzed with a more thorough gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) test.
It sounds good doesn't it? For a while, this gave people an easy way to pass drug tests, but like all good things, it had to come to an end. Once the testing labs caught on to widespread cheating, they introduced separate adulterant tests to confirm the integrity of samples. Not only do these tests detect the presence of the nitrates and oxidizing substances that are used in masking agents, they also check for normal levels of pH, creatine, and specific gravity. Even adding a simple household substance (e.g., vinegar or even water) to your urine usually disrupts at least one of these values.
These advances have made drug test masking products obsolete. For DOT employees, being caught cheating means an automatic fail and suspension. Other employees may have it easier, but it could still mean having to take another test under stricter conditions. It's therefore really not a good idea.
What alternatives are there to drug test masking products?
Fortunately, there are other ways to get through drug tests. The most honest way is to detox your body quickly, usually through a one-week program. For many drugs, and especially for lighter users, a week is often enough to get your body clean enough to pass a urine or saliva drug test. You can then safely take a drug test for as long as you avoid drugs, especially if you test yourself first. You won't even be cheating as such, because you will actually be clean.
Of course, not everyone will have the luxury of a week to detox in, and it can take much longer for some people. Frequent weed users often have great difficulty in getting clean enough for urine drug tests, even after abstaining for weeks. This is where a good detox drink can be a lifesaver.
These drinks effectively lower the concentration of toxins in your urine (including drug metabolites), so you can submit a normal urine sample. This works best when you abstain from drugs as well. The longer you can do this, the better it will be for you, but try to at least manage a couple of days before your drug test.
